Veterinarians

  • Dr. Jack Sinnigen , VMD


    Dr Jack Sinnigen is co-owner of the hospital with his wife, Betsy Allen Sinnigen. He has been practicing here in Sudbury since 1987. In 1984, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine after first obtaining a biology degree as an undergraduate also at University of Pennsylvania. His veterinary interests include endocrinology and dermatology, especially chronic ear problems. Outside of work, he enjoys attending the many activities of his three children, spending time with his family, fishing, golfing and playing softball. His pets include two great cats and an awesome yellow lab.


  • Dr. Donna Tizard , DVM


    Dr Donna Tizard has been an associate with the Sudbury Animal Hospital since 1995. She is a 1982 graduate of the University of Vermont where she earned a degree in biochemistry. After working as an Associate Scientist in the biotech industry for a few years, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine earning her veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1993. She has two children and a horse named Don Diego ("Danno"). Donna enjoys spending time with her family, dressage, skiing and tennis (when she is not riding).


  • Dr. Amanda Kinney , DVM


    Dr Amanda Kinney has been an associate with the hospital since 2001. She is a 1997 graduate of Muhlenberg College and earned her veterinary degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She has two children and a rhodesian ridgeback named Truman. Amanda enjoys skiing, hiking with Truman and spending time with her family.


  • Dr. Betsy Allen Sinnigen , VMD


    Dr Allen and her husband have co-owned the Sudbury Animal Hospital since 1987. She is a 1985 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Brown University in 1981. Dr Allen has three children, a yellow lab named Lily, and two black cats named Bat and Tori. She enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog in the woods, reading and cheering for the Red Sox and the Patriots.

Technicians

  • Carol


    Carol has been with Sudbury Animal Hospital since 2002. After growing up in Sudbury, she attended Rutgers University in New Jersey and is currently completing her veterinary technology degree at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. Her hobbies include photography and hiking with her three dogs (a westie, labrador, and westie/cocker mix).


  • Kate


    Kate has been with Sudbury Animal Hospital since 2003. She lives with her husband, three weimaraners: Lola, Tina, and Rocky, as well as her two cats: Donovan and Clara. Prior to joining the staff here at the hospital, she participated in various dog related activities including conformation showing, hunting, tracking, and obedience. In her free time she enjoys gardening and watching old movies.


  • Saori


    Saori is a certified veterianry technologist and has been with us since 2004. She is originally from Osaka, Japan and has been living in the US for the past several years. She has one adorable cat that was rescued earlier this year by the staff of the hospital. He was a newborn kitten when he was found with his eyes and ears still closed and part of one leg missing. Saori and the other staff members bottle fed and raised him, nursed him to a very robust and healthy state, and he now lives with Saori.

  • Gayle


    Gayle has been at Sudbury Animal Hospital since 1999. She lives with her husband and a menagerie of animals including: one dog, three cats, four ferrets and two tarantulas. Gayle is our front end supervisor and takes care of all things related to reception and customer service.


  • Staci


    Staci has been with Sudbury Animal Hospital since 2007. She works in many areas of the animal hospital. She primarily works with the doctors seeing appointments, but also works in reception from time to time. Staci lives with her husband and one dog and two cats.
